“The Marriage Narrative” by Claire Kann

“You will find what is meant for you. Sometimes you have to be a little aggressive and do some wacky things to get there. You could do it for the plot. But also, if you trust yourself and believe in yourself, you’ll eventually get there.”

In the world of romance, acclaimed author Claire Kann has crafted love stories that have captured the hearts of all ages. Her latest contemporary romance, The Marriage Narrative, offers a unique perspective on relationships with the intrigue and drama of reality TV. Claire recently joined the Narratives & Nightcaps Podcast to talk about her passion for storytelling, crafting relatable characters, and her hopes for writers now and in the future.

The narrative: about The Marriage Narrative

Zinnia has a bold idea. She’s successful, ambitious, and creative – but she’s not going to wait around for “the one.” However, she sees the appeal and benefits of having a partner, and thus, creates a marriage-merger proposal for a business partner husband.

For Jordan, the proposition is perfect for his circumstances, and he genuinely agrees with Zinnia’s stance. Plus, he just so happens to need a wife as he joins the crazy popular reality TV show focused on… his family. He’s stayed away from the set for the last decade, but in order to keep a family secret, he has to step in front of the cameras.

So, what happens with the lines between reality and TV start to blur? And can a relationship – fake or not – really survive that lifestyle?
